District One Judge's Conference Held in Palmer, AK July 26th a BIG success!

I wanted to take a minute and tell you about the AK Judge's Conference. If you haven't heard, it was awesome! More than 35 people attended, most of which weren't even judges. The beauty of a Judge's Conference isn't necessarily the continuing education for the judges, but instead the open gathering for the sharing of rabbit knowledge. Rabbit people eat this stuff up! In a state like Alaska where the breeders are very limited to genetics and the casual sharing of knowledge with many breeders at local shows, Judge's Conferences make a lot of sense for promoting the hobby. Cool stuff.
